SOME POWERFUL REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD START USING STORY TELLING MARKETING IN YOUR NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS

WHAT IS STORY TELLING MARKETING:

In my own words, story telling Marketing is your ability to communicate your ideas in a narrative way, more human, friendly and a memorable experience to the point of making your audience act accordingly to what you want them to do.

According to ask at test website, they discribe it as;

Storytelling marketing means using a narrative to communicate a message. The aim is to make the viewer feel something – enough that it'll inspire them to take action. Storytelling in marketing helps consumers to understand why they should care about something, and it works to humanise your brand

If you have been in the field of Marketing for long, you may have come across this statement. Facts tell but story sells .

As a network Marketer or as an entrepreneur , you must understand that stories reach a person's emotions faster than facts. And since people buy/ join your business emotionally, you want to touch them emotionally so that they act according to your desire.

It's obvious that one reason why people fail to act or do anything is because they don't have any reason for doing that thing.

You may not be using story in your business presentations because you don't have any reason for using it.

In today's training, I will be offering you some reasons why you should be using story in your network marketing business.

IMPORTANCE OF STORY TELLING IN ONLINE MARKETING

1. Stories engage multiple parts of the brain and can even synchronize the brain of the listener and the person telling the story :

when you tell a story, you are actually stimulating different parts of your customer's brain. This doesn't only make them concentrate in the conversation but it equally give them the feeling of the characters in the story. This helps them assume the possible outcome for them if they act in accordance to the character in the story.

2) Stories often provoke emotions in us, which leads us to get emotionally involve and we also remember details more vividly

To sell anything to someone, or to recruit a prospect, you must be able to touch his or her emotions.

90% of our actions are controlled by our emotions. Your prospect will only move or act when his or her emotions have moved . Stories will help in affecting your prospects emotions faster than normal facts and details. Also, humans can readily remember stories than facts.

3) When a story is told well it can increase oxytocin, which leads to a greater feeling of trust between you and your prospects :

A good story builds trust between you and your prospects and between companies and brands . For example the day I visited my alma mater to give a speech, within the first 5 minutes of my speech, I was able to build trust with all the students that were listening to me.

How was I able to do this?  I told them a relatable story about my first day in that school and I'm sure that all of them were able to relate to it. I was able to build trust with them that made them did immediately what I suggested to them after my speech.

4) Brands that storytell in their marketing develop deeper relationships with their audience

you can build a very strong relationship with your prospects and audience within a very short time by using story.

We are all humans we have some things in common and your story can brigde the gap of your prospects thinking that you are different from them.

Once they have been able to connect with you in common grounds, it's easier to do business with you.

5) Storytelling keeps the audience coming back for more

Humans naturally enjoy stories because it creates expectation in the mind of the listener.

Humans are always longing to know the outcome and that is the power of a story. Your story is always taking your prospects on a journey Which normally make them come back for more. The more the hear your story, the more the relationship is built. This usually result to building  know, like and trust factor Which usually convert to a sale.
