Welcome fellow networker I hope you are doing well and fine.

Today's training is about some things you need to understand about recruiting prospects on WhatsApp groups.

I've been using WhatsApp to build my network marketing business since 2015.  To be specific with you, WhatsApp has contributed a lot to my success in the network marketing profession.

Right from when I started building my network marketing business until now I don't own an offline seminar Center for my business this is because I consider WhatsApp groups to be my only seminar Centers.

Today's training is about some things you need to understand if you are using WhatsApp groups to recruit prospects into your network marketing business.

In all my articles, I always try my best to let my readers know that everything in life and business is mostly about mindset. 

Strategies are great but mindset plays an 80% role in your success at anything.

The truth is that WhatsApp is still the same as it was when I started using it to recruit ( although I know that there have been some changes ) but it still serves the same purpose.

I am still using it for presentation and closing prospects like I did back then in 2015 so what changed? that now I'm able to recruit at least two people from my group consistently in a week whereas I was struggling to recruit one person in a month back then...?

Why I'm I able to not only recruit prospects but also to recruit quality ones without them knowing me or me knowing them?

Why am I able to do all these things now than then irrespective of the fact that the WhatsApp platform is still serving the same purpose now as it did then... 

Why??

I think it's the mindset.

The mindset I have now about WhatsApp recruiting is different from what I had then.

Looking back, I see the things I was doing wrong. 

I now understand why I wasn't recruiting and I'll explain those things in this training.

Wallace D Wallace in his book titled the science of getting rich said that;

"you don't get rich by doing certain things but rather you get rich by doing things in a certain way".

Many networkers are using WhatsApp to build their network marketing business but the truth is that many of them are struggling ... Just hopping to recruit.

They can't tell you with certainty how many prospects they expect to recruit in a week ... This means they don't know their numbers.

Don't be like these people ... Make the decision to develop a WhatsApp recruiting mindset and you will never worry about not recruiting prospects.

Below are things you must know if you are using a WhatsApp group in recruiting prospects for your network marketing business.

But first, before we move deeply into WhatsApp group philosophy let me explain the first thing to consider.

KNOW HOW TO GET PEOPLE INTO YOUR WHATSAPP GROUP:  The fact that you've created a WhatsApp group doesn't mean that you will have prospects to present your business to.

You must know how to get prospects into your group. 

WhatsApp group isn't like Facebook group that people can easily discover and join. 

In a WhatsApp group, if you don't have a method of bringing people into your group, you won't be able to recruit anyone.

In my business, I've used different methods but at present, the method I'm using is to direct people from my blog and Facebook groups to join my WhatsApp group. 

From here I present my business to them.

Apart from this method, there are different ways you can add prospects to your WhatsApp group which include:

A) Adding from your contact list : 

I believe you have some networkers or business-oriented individuals on your contact ... You can add them to your WhatsApp group after notifying them. 

Let me emphasize this. Only add your contacts to your WhatsApp group after notifying them about it. 

It's unprofessional to add your contacts to a group they know nothing about.

B) Meet new people every day: 

Another way to get prospects into your WhatsApp group is to form the habit of meeting new people every day and introducing them to your business thereafter adding them to your group.

While this strategy may not be for everyone if you are a social person, you may be comfortable raising curiosity about your business and when the prospect is interested you can suggest adding him or her to your group for more information.

If you succeeded in adding at least 5 new people to your group daily, in thirty days you will have 150 people in your group.

C) addition from your social media handles: 

your social media platforms are other channels you can use to bring people into your WhatsApp group. 

Platforms like Facebook profiles, groups, and pages, other platforms like Twitter, Instagram, TikTok e.t.c

You can either use the organic method or paid advertisement. 

But make sure that irrespective of any method you decide to use, you have to do it professionally.

D) bulk SMS: 

You can use bulk SMS to get prospects into your WhatsApp group. Here you must have your contacts already. There are different bulk SMS platforms you can use for this purpose.

E) WhatsApp TV:

WhatsApp TVs are advertisers on WhatsApp status. 

Most of them have lots of views of the business-minded audience. You can pay them to advertise your WhatsApp group link to their audience.

The above ways are different methods you can use to get prospects into your WhatsApp group.

After you have your method of lead generation the next thing is to present, and follow up until they join the business or exit the group. 

This training is really about changing your mindset about recruiting prospects in your WhatsApp group.

Below are different things you need to understand about having a WhatsApp group recruiting mindset

#1) PROSPECTS DON'T REGISTER IMMEDIATELY AFTER THEY JOIN YOUR GROUP: 

In recruiting its ignorance to expect a prospect to join or buy your product the first day you introduce them to it.

Humans are always careful with making mistakes so they always delay their decisions to be sure that they are doing the right thing. 

The same thing applies to a WhatsApp group. Your prospects won't make an instant decision irrespective of how comprehensive your presentation may be.

With this in mind, you won't be emotionally attached to anyone registering, you will only be focused on your presentations and follow-ups.

This simply means that you can't decide for them. That is their decision to make.

#2) CONSIDER YOUR WHATSAPP GROUP AS YOUR SEMINAR HALL.

If you are building your network marketing business 99%  online like me then you want to take this advice seriously.

Your WhatsApp group is your seminar hall. 

As I said earlier, WhatsApp recruiting is more of a mindset. 

During my early days on WhatsApp group recruiting, I didn't consider my WhatsApp group as my seminar hall and because of this, I posted different low credible content and was careless about people spamming the group.

My lack of seriousness reflected in the group's operations prevented prospects from trusting me and the business.

Understand: Everything in life is subjective. A thing becomes what you consider it to be.

If you are building your network marketing business online, you can consider your WhatsApp group as your seminar hall.

The good news here is that you don't need to rent a space, pay for projectors, or buy chairs, and generators. 

You don't need to be there physically and your prospects may not leave the hall after a particular seminar ... They are likely to be there for follow-up. Furthermore, you only need a 10 to 15 minutes presentation daily until they join or exit your group.

Isn't this a great advantage compared to someone with an offline seminar Center?

I can't speak for you but in my opinion, this is cool.

#3) DON'T EVER REMOVE AN INACTIVE PARTICIPANT FROM YOUR GROUP UNLESS THE PERSON VIOLATE'S YOUR GROUP RULES. 

This is one mistake I see many networkers making. 

They immediately remove People that are not prompt in joining their business. 

Firstly, you must understand that people take time to make a buying decision.

Secondly, your group members can patronize you in various businesses even without joining or buying your network marketing business Product.

This is what I mean;

I have different business groups. Some people in these groups have never joined my network marketing team but they have purchased my pieces of training.

As a networker, you must understand that you are equally an entrepreneur.

Everything must not begin and end with your network marketing company. 

If someone joins your WhatsApp group and decides not to register or buy your products don't remove the person, allow the person to be there if that group gets full, simply create a new group.

These people that haven't joined your network marketing business may later purchase any of your coaching programs about network marketing or they may serve as constant traffic to your blog posts.

#4) REPEATED PRESENTATIONS INFLUENCES YOUR PROSPECTS SUBCONSCIOUS MIND:  

If you don't know much about human psychology you may expect Prospects to join your business as soon as they join your WhatsApp group. 

Prospects join or buy your products based on emotions. 

The subconscious mind is the emotional mind. for any information to get to the subconscious mind, it must be repeated for some time. 

If you make a one-time presentation on your WhatsApp group and expect your Prospects to sign up immediately then you don't understand how the subconscious mind works.

You must repeat your presentations over and over again as you do this, they will begin considering joining or buying your products and before they realized it, they will join or buy.

Keep on repeating your business presentations. 

Post any new information about your business and stay committed. 

The more they see your Activities in the group, the more they will be convinced.

#5) REPEATED PRESENTATIONS ENABLE YOUR TEAM MEMBERS TO BE MORE CONVINCED ABOUT THE BUSINESS: 

Some weeks ago on my Twitter handle, I twitted that recruiting isn't only about getting someone to join your business but it's equally about getting that person's mind to join.

From experience, I've come to realize that someone can join your business but his or her mind is on another business.

If your team members are equally in your presentation group, they will be more convinced about the business as they keep on seeing your presentations. 

So, not only is repeated presentation better to recruit Prospects, it's equally good to build a strong belief in the mind of your team members.
