HIGHER FACULTY IDEAS I GOT FROM BOB PROCTOR'S TRAINING ( YOU WERE BORN RICH).
Today's training is about the faculty of the mind. I got this information from Bob proctor's personal development seminar.
Naturally I love personal development because it's just part of me.
Just like many people love politics, football, music, that is how I love personal development.
Any idea that makes me to think with the aim of increasing my wisdom is always fascinating to me.
During my early days in network marketing industry I thought that I joined the industry specifically for the money but it was when I stayed in my first company for 8 months without earning any money and my motivation didn't reduce was when I realized that there was something else beneath my drive in this industry.
We all have our driving forces in relation to our actions in this industry.
Some people like this industry specifically for the money, others like the industry specifically for relationship ; connecting with new people every single day, others like the industry specifically for the recognition, leading people, motivating people e.t.c..
There are various reasons why people join this industry.
At first we may think that the sole aim of joining this industry is to make money.
This maybe true to some persons but to others there's more to it than that.
Many Networkers have earned alot of money in this industry but there are still active in their business why?
The simple answer is that these people have another driving force within.
Mine is mostly for the personal development.
Network marketing profession is one of the best industries that encourages personal development.
Since I'm always focused on my underlaying force which is personal development, I have been exposed to many great people in the field of personal development and I've gotten some great information from most of them.
No, I've not arrive yet. I don't think there's an end to it because personal development is a life long process.
In today's training I want to share the ideas I got from one of my mentors "Bob proctor".
I first listened to Bob's training during my second year in this industry.
I have never met him in person but I have tremendous respect for him.
He specialises in explaining the workings of the human mind and he's great at it.
Recently I listened to one of his trainings "YOU WERE BORN RICH" seminar.
It's a phenomenal training, I believe it's available now on YouTube you can check it out.
While going through the training, I was able to pick up the 6 higher faculties, so I thought it wise to share them with you.

From the training I've been made to understand that we are all spiritual beings , living in physical bodies operating with our mind.
I understood that everything we need in life is already here now. But it's left for us to use our mental faculties (mind) and bring it form.( Physical).
He explained that your physical environment is as good as your ability to use your mental faculties.
FACULTIES OF THE MIND
He listed different faculties in the human mind and explained them.
Below are different facilities in our mind and how they operate.
Facilities of the mind include:
1) REASON
2) MEMORY
3) PERCEPTION
4) WILL
5) IMAGINATION
6) INTUITION
#1) Reason
He explained that as humans, we can think about anything and desire it because of the reasoning factor which we possess.
Your reasoning factor permits you to think about anything be it good or bad.
It involves choosing or selecting certain facts or premises and using them to establish conclusions, judgments or inferences.
A person will choose their facts or premises, from either of two areas which are: Ideas which they have formulated and which reside in their objective or conscious mind and information conveyed to the objective or conscious mind, via the physical senses.
#2) Memory
Our memory is the mental capacity or faculty of retaining and reviving facts, events, impressions, etc., or of recalling or recognizing previous experiences.
The facts, events, impressions, experiences, etc., may be generally summed up by the term: Information.
He went on to say that memory can be expanded if used regularly.
3) Perception
Here two people can be looking at the same object and they can both have different ideas of it.
In other words, they perceive things differently. In this instance, there is no right or wrong, everything is just Is . We give meaning to things depending on our perception.
One definition of Perception from the dictionary is: The act or faculty of apprehending by means of the senses or of the mind.
Another way to understand it is that, we form a conclusion about a subject or object, either via the information gained via the physical senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch), or via the ideas we formulate regarding said subject or object.
4) WILL:
Here your ability to focus only on an idea and exclude everything else.
The proper use of the mental faculty of Will, is, so-to-say, to keep a mental image “fixed” in the mind.
5) Intuition
Intuition is the realization and recognition of some condition or occurrence, where said realization and recognition transpires with seemingly little or no involvement of the individual’s physical senses.
It's seen as an instant idea or an immediate answer we receive without even thinking about it.
One meaning of Intuition is: the direct perception of truth, fact, etc., independent of any reasoning process.
6) Imagination
Bob explained that anyone can create anything with the help of imagination.
All the great inventions that have transformed our lives came from imagination..
Knowing about these higher faculties and how they work, we can develop and use them to achieve anything we want in our lives.
Our Creator has given us these tools. We need to develop them to a higher level.
Imagination, or Visualization, may be simply defined as the formation of mental images or pictures.
Whenever a person forms a Thought or an Idea in their mind, he or she is forming an image which corresponds or matches the Thought or Idea.
For example, if a person thinks of a boat they don’t particularly think the word “boat” – they almost invariably form an image of a boat they have encountered at some previous moment in time – a boat seen only as a picture in a book.
These are the facilities that helps an individual transform the unseen into the seen.
For the fact that you can't see something with your physical eyes ( one of our lowest mental tools) doesn't mean that it's not available right now.
Everything you want is already here. all you have to do is simply to transform it from the unseen to the seen by using your higher faculties.
In conclusion
One good thing about the Network Marketing profession is that it cuts across different areas of life making you a well informed person.
The personal development training I got this information from is phenomenal, this information shared here is like 1% of information contained in that training. I believe I'll share other lessons I got from that training in my subsequent articles but until then, live consciously.
